Fairie Tattoo Design
Fairies are a collection of many names, such as gnomes, sprites, pixies, fair folk, wee folk and brownies to name a couple of. They are called magical creatures that can be enormously useful or incredibly destructive. Essentially, fairies look like humans and can be described as being incredibly modest, having pointed 'elf' ears, having fangs, having wings, being part demon, or being dead. A Fairy tattoo represents the magical and enchanted aspects of nature. The tattoo also represents childhood or youthful innocence for the connection between fairies and fairy tales, or children's stories that have fantastical elements and have a happy ending.
Tattoos might be cartoon looking or realistic, but are generally colored and detailed. As mystical creatures fairies are regarded as to be modest, they translate well into tiny tattoos, which is the principal reason for their popularity. Tattoo designs fit well in various places on the body like hips, lower back, shoulders, ankles, etc. Designs can be depicted in distinct positions like flying, sitting and standing, crouching, reclining. Petals, Mushrooms, Hummingbirds, Toadstools, Flowers, Frogs, Dragonflies, or Leaves, Butterflies etc
Generally men select fairy tattoo designs, which are completely diverse from the tattoo designs for women. Men pick tattoos that depict the fairies as pin-ups or seductive women. Frequently these are naked and present impossible seduction or exotic rather than innocence like the men's mermaid tattoos are quite distinct from the tattoo designs for ladies. For this reason, the male tattoo of this elfin creature is hazardous and seductive. Usually, ladies select designs such as like Crystal or Thumbelina from Fern gully.
These tattoos represent the characters as they were in the films. The meaning behind the tattoo with its character has nothing to do with what really these magical creatures represent and a lot more to do with meanings and feelings associated with that special work.
Fairy tattoos are utilized for their symbolism for childhood and children's stories and sometimes utilized as commemoration or memorial tattoos for kids. These tattoos indicate that those youngsters who are lost are pure, childlike, and innocent. Butterfly and dragonfly tattoos spiked in popularity around the same time and are as equally as well-known. This may possibly be due to the fact ladies are drawn according to the mystical and magical aspects of these creatures and their historical significance, deep symbolism, innate fragility, delicate natures and their distinctly feminine characteristics.

Frequently Asked Questions...
How do you get the fairy/pixie look?
Don't give me any hate, I don't need it, you don't need to give it. Your nasty comments are a waste...
But for some reason, I just really like the look of fairies. They look effortlessly cute and fun, I guess. How do you get that look without looking like you're wearing a costume? How would a fairy do her hair, makeup and how would she dress?
Thank you!
Answer:
1) Get a haircut like this:

Or a variation of that.
Curl some of the strands and dye on strand green, pink, or a cute fairy kind of color.
For makeup, use colored eyeshadow (like soft blues, natural looking greens, or pale reds). And if you want add some shimmer to your upper cheekbones. Make sure it doesn't look cheap or what I five year old might use to play make-up! Lol trust me, there are ways of making it look sophisticated yet fairy-like!
Try using skirts like these, too:

(Yes, these are called pixie skirts! They'll look cute if you pair them with a thin, 1-in. heel or more preferably a colorful pair of flats!)
Shirts that have flowy sleeves or sequins look fairy-like too, but if you don't like that kind of thing, that' s okay too! Just be creative with your style and you'll find what you like!
Good luck and God bless hun! : o)
