The way it is fixed on nails and when it is matched with the right designed dress it is truly cute to look. Apply a base nail coat polish before one start to just fix the small sized dried flower upon the nail. A little amount of glue can be placed on the place where the dried flower is fixed and with the help of tweezers the dried flower is carefully placed on the nail .Then the flower is allowed to dry in that place and a clear bead of acrylic powder is picked and covered upon the flower. The enhancement of applying a dried flower is thus complete. Now the dried leaves are cut into the desired shape and they are fixed just above the flower to give a unique appearance. The nail is shaped well and this type of nail art is gaining much popularity these days. In the beauty and fashion industry the sweeping presence of this fine art works in nail is much welcomed. The colors of the flowers and the style of the leaves are just mixed and matched according to the user's likes and dislikes. So, what does the professional art world have against "cute" things?
I have been warned, twice by two separate professors, to not make my drawings and paintings "too cute" because judges (if I were to enter them into a show or something) would simply write them off as "too cute". What does the art world, or perhaps rather art judges, have against cute things? Even if they are well done.
Answer:
depends what type of artwork, or aspect to that artwork,
when you have an initial idea for cute art, and plan to expand on that one topic,
if deemed popular, you could overrule others judgments, for having a creative set of works,

if you were to make artwork, as in an oil painting or sculpture, and under the subject in a course outlined as so, and you then create art that is out of context, then the too cute term would be relevant, some level in the fine arts would want the artwork to be thought provoking, or as an intellectual conversation piece, no longer an artwork you would place on fridge door :
